Boutheina completed her honours degree in Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of Tunisi-Manar (Tunisia). She has since gained wide-reaching experience in hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation centres in Tunisia and in the United Kingdom. Whilst practicing as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist at Thames River Physiotherapy, she also continuously develops her skills by actively participating in professional courses, seminars and in-service trainings.
Boutheina has expertise in treating musculoskeletal and neurological issues, and she specialises in joint and soft tissue manipulation techniques, dry needling, electrotherapy and exercise prescription. She has a strong interest in treating spinal injuries, whiplash and sports-related injuries.
She prioritises performing comprehensive biomechanics and posture assessment before determining her treatment modalities.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and running.
